Yukana has an enviable reputation for the standard of care provided to our residents. With the increasing care requirements for our Independent Living residents we are now providing low-level care into the units.
This allows residents to remain in their unit for longer and assists them to maintain their independence in a safe and supportive environment.
At Yukana we are very careful not to attempt to provide care at higher levels that may put the residents safety at risk, but provide care at a level where assistance with daily living allows the resident a sense of control at a time when the ageing process can seem daunting. This assistance can take the form of cleaning, shower assistance, medication assistance, etc. All tailored to the resident’s specific needs and requirements.
