At Yukana we understand that many of our residents love to host family and friends for morning tea or a coffee. They enjoy the opportunity to sit and chat with their visitors in a peaceful, comfortable location.
For this reason, Yukana recently provided them with a blast from the past by decorating one of the courtyards with doors and windows that were once the norm in houses around Australia as well as a cosy fireplace – used as a planter. The change to the courtyard has proved to be a topic of conversation for some who happily discuss the plants in the new garden beds and reminisce about the past.
