Carnival time for Yukana residents

Residents at Yukana enjoyed the beautiful weather during their outings to Laurel Bank Park this week for Carnival of Flowers. Time spent together to absorb the colour and scent of the gardens is something residents look forward to each year. Being treated to morning tea in the park was an added bonus for those who chose partake.

It was an exciting time for residents with higher care needs who were also able to enjoy the beauty of the gardens this year. Thanks to our wonderful local Council everyone was able to experience the vibrant flower beds and buzzing atmosphere at Queens Park and Laurel Bank Park in the comfort of the Village’s mini bus.
