Residents love to be able to head out of the Village to attend various activities offered through Yukana’s lifestyle program. Mobility restricted residents have had the opportunity to attend larger group outings through the use of the Village bus however it has been the goal of the Lifestyle team to enable all residents to attend smaller, more intimate outings.
The acquisition of a wheelchair accessible mini bus by METRO Church has allowed residents to realise this goal. In addition to attending smaller group outings, they also receive the additional benefit of using the mini bus to be transported to medical appointments via the Concierge service.
