Our residents not only value being part of the Yukana community, they also value continuing to be part of the wider Toowoomba community through a variety of activities offered through Yukana’s Lifestyle Program. The Program is designed to encourage residents to become involved in the Village as well as in the community.
A recent addition to the Program is the regular visits with children from a local kindergarten. Both children and residents benefit from spending time playing, singing and reading together. The two groups have reciprocated in hosting the other and enjoy sharing morning tea as part of the activity.
